Rights and obligations of students
The following rights apply to students: • a high-quality education; • a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment; • personal privacy; • freedom of speech and self-expression; • equality and indiscrimination regardless of gender, religion, social status, or economic background; • the development of academic, artistic, or athletic skills; • and the use of school resources, such as computers and books.
Student Responsibilities
The following rules must be followed by students: • arrive at school on time; • attend classes and other school events on time; • respect the rights and property of other students and staff members; • use acceptable language and body language while speaking or interacting with them.
